Technical Superintendent (Tugs) – Permanent – London – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading towage provider working in their London team based out of their office in Essex.

The Superintendent optimes the availability of vessels, both technical & operational, to ensure optimal use of the vessels

Responsibilities include:

• Support & contribute to the development of the fleet management and new build strategy
• Keep an overview of the availability of vessels
• Monitor docking and CAPEX projects in compliance with company standards
• Monitor area fleet performance
• Advise on fleet renewal, modification or innovation
• Follow up on damage reports and insurance claims
• Ensure follow up and implementation of new statutory and class requirements

Experience Required:

• Previous experience ashore as Technical/Fleet Superintendent (Highly desirable)
• Sea going experience in a senior engineering rank
• Experience with Small craft (Tugs/Workboats) is highly desirable
• Knowledge of quality management systems
• Knowledge of Class & Flag state requirements
• Fluent in English (Written & Spoken)
