Sea-Eye e. V. is a civil aid organization that was founded in 2015 to no longer stand by and watch people dying in the Mediterranean Sea. With our rescue ship SEA-EYE 4, we search for people in distress on the world's deadliest migration route and fight against the daily loss of life at sea.

TASKS
• Prepare two meals each day ship is underway for a crew of 25
• Prepare food for rescued people
• Keep the galley and pantry area in a clean and orderly manner
• Buy or order food within budget constraints and in cooperation with the logistics department
• Safe food handling and galley hygiene practices
• Ability to serve vegan, vegetarian and meat diets
• Be able to recognize problems with galley equipment
• Perform stock control

YOUR PROFILE
• STCW A VI/1 & Food Safety and Hygiene for foodhandlers
• Yellow Fever and Covid Vaccination
• Basic mathematical skills
• Principles and procedures of record keeping
• Communication skills
• Microsoft Office skills
• Good English language skills
• Willingness to work with volunteers
