Project Manager – Fixed-Term – Kent

As a Project Manager you would be responsible for the design and construction stages of works within a dock environment. This will involve carrying out new marine piling, refurbishment of existing pontoons and the installation of mechanical and electrical infrastructure both on the landside and on the pontoons.

This position is to start in September 2022 and it is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2024.

The successful candidate will have:

• BSc in Civil Engineering or similar relevant degree
• Construction Site Management Qualification (SMSTS, NVQ Construction Site Management or similar)
• A proven track record of project management of civil engineering aspects of multi-disciplinary projects in ‘live’ operational environments
• NEC3 ECC – Project Manager role on multi-disciplinary projects
• A proven track record of civil engineering design and thorough understanding of the design process
• A proven track record of responsibility from the construction phase of civil engineering projects
• Thorough understanding of CDM Regulations 2015 and management of construction sites
• Thorough understanding of environmental requirements and considerations on civil engineering projects
• Thorough understanding of Procurement of both services and construction works and a practical experience of undertaking of the ‘Client’s role’ under such contracts
• Proficient in the use of MS Office
• Knowledge of MS Project or similar planning software
• UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
• Be able to work additional hours as and when required
