Mobile Support Engineer – Permanent – UK

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Support Engineer. The main purpose of the role will be to plan, implement and oversee maintenance and repair of vessels at various locations around the UK and cover as deckhand as and when required.

Principal Responsibilities

• Service and repair vessel machinery, generally (but not limited to) propulsion engines, stern drives, generators, hydraulic systems and deck equipment
• Fault find and troubleshoot as required
• Provide relief cover as Mate/Deck Hand on company vessels as and when required
• Accurate and timely reporting of all work carried out which will include completion of service reports at the end of each job
• Carry out internal audits and inspections of vessels, ensuring that comprehensive records are maintained
• Oversee the attendance of subcontractors to vessels
• Attend vessel out of water inspection as and when required
• Ensure company policies, procedures and RAMS are adhered to at all times

You must be mobile and flexible with working in several locations, have a full clean UK driving license and have hands on experience working on various types of vessels.
