Yacht Broker

Yacht Broker- Portsmouth- Permanent- Basic £19,000 with an OTE £30,000

Navis Consulting are looking for an individual with a passion for sales within the yacht sector. Based on the south coast, our clients wants a unique individual with the drive to deliver a high quality service to join their team and develop your career.

Key Responsibilities:
-To keep existing and potential customers up to date with new/used brokerage listings

-Ensure all existing customers are in regular contact building a good relationship

-To maintain and develop knowledge of broker documentation

-To abide by companies strict procedures and policies

-Plan and prepare for Sales meetings

-Ensure all invoices, sales transactions, payments are accurately documented and liaised clearly with customers

-Maintain boat displays

-Assist with sea trials when required

-Organize cleaning and maintaining of boats

-Keep up to date with competitors’ products

-Attend boat shows as required

Requirements:
-Good knowledge of local marine environment

-Good knowledge of both power and sail craft

-To be apart and work well in a team

-The ability to meet KPI’s and deadlines.

-Perform to a high standard delivering a quality service reflecting our products

-Attention to detail

-Communicate persuasively with customers

-Outgoing personality and proactive

-Prompt attendance

-Sales experience would be an advantage

-Strong IT skills
