Marine Systems Engineer (Marine Equipment)- Permanent - Glasgow - Competitive Salary

 

A leading Marine Equipment company is recruiting for a Marine Systems Engineer to join their team in building this new part of the business in Glasgow.

 

 

You will be working closely with the vessel and platform new-build and conversion design team, conducting subsystems design.

 

Other duties will include (but are not limited to);

 

· Analysis of Platform Subsystems through Failure Mode Effect analysis.

· Technical Support through build projects.

· Specification, design and selection of onboard vessel mechanical/gas and fluid systems.

 

You will be a good communicator and diligent to make sure that tasks are carried out efficiently and any problems are resolved.

 

You will come from a Marine Systems or Engineering background with experience in Small Craft vessels.

 

Marine systems architecture modelling, design and development experience and knowledge of CADMID life-cycle is preferred.

 

You will have a high level of Technical Attitude and being able to complete tasks with little assistance.
