Marketing and Social Media Executive (Marine)- Permanent- Southampton- Up to £26,000

Navis Consulting are looking for someone with initiative who can hit the ground running and showcase their skills and personality. A team player with working knowledge of digital marketing whilst being able to provide new and engaging ideas. This role is suited to a confident individual with enthusiasm, motivation and all of the passion that helps drive marketing efforts forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help to deliver the marketing strategy through the creation and implementation of effective marketing campaigns, both online and physical
• Review and analyse the existing social media and update the digital marketing strategy
• Produce engaging content for different social media channels
• Grow following and engagement of social and digital marketing channels
• Create & deliver Content – to include Blogs, PR, Social Media, Advert Copy, Case studies
• Scheduling & deliver social media content according to the content calendar
• Write the weekly internal newsletter sent to all staff
• Assist in organising events and attending events

Requirements:

• Ideally, educated to degree level or with a CIM qualification and have relevant experience in marketing
• Demonstrable experience in digital marketing, email campaigns, social media, paid social/video
• Able to create and edit videos for social media
• An understanding of the Adobe creative suite of products
• Can work effectively with others and build productive, collaborative relationships across departments and with third parties
• Enthusiastic and hard working
• Highly organised, with the ability to work to deadlines, able to plan and prioritise short and long-term tasks effectively
• Able to work on tasks at short notice that aren’t planned for
• Ability to build relationships with various external and internal stakeholders
• Self-motivated, creative and customer focused

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in the marine industry
• Powerboat license, useful but not essential
