Environmental, Health & Safety Manager (Marine) – Permanent- Peterborough- Up to £60,000

Navis Consulting have an opportunity for an individual with the want to promote positive H&S culture across the manufacturing site and work closely with all departments to gather information to help drive up quality standards throughout. Based on the outskirts of Peterborough client wants a unique individual to lead by example to mentor and motivate the maintenance of high quality standards to achieve an exceptional working environment for all staff throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run regular EHS meetings and monitor action plans
• Collaborate all EHS project across all sites
• Record and manage of work place injuries/near misses, leading investigations
• RIDDOR reports and follow up with external agencies such as HSE and the EA
• Lead risk assessment programme
• Prepare responses to insurers/solicitors in response to any personnel injury claim
• Providing guidance on H&S matters to all stakeholders
• Review and audit arrangements for H&S management while continuously improving
• Plan and strategies work systems around reducing H&S risks
• All documentations followed up with
• Support business change
• Responsible for waste culture change programmes

Experience Required:

• Education to a degree level
• Experience working in H&S role of a similar level
• Knowledge of culture change within an organization
• IOSH or equal to professional qualification
• Experience in completing H&S audits and implementing action plan to meet audit findings
• Organize workload effectively to meet deadlines
• Be flexible and respond to business needs
• Strong interpersonal skills
