Programmes Manager (Maritime) - Permanent – Glasgow - Competitive Salary
A leading Marine Equipment company is recruiting for a Programmes Manager to join the team based in Glasgow.
You will be responsible the oversight of all projects as well as acting as the single point of contact for the Project Managers and external parties.
Other duties will include (but are not limited to);
- Reviewing and approving project plans (e.g., budgets, risks and scheduling).
- Setting objectives across the projects.
- Active project performance management against the plan’s objectives and issues, as well as initiating appropriate corrective actions
- Providing support and advice for Project Managers on current projects.
- Ensure all projects are being run to their contracts and the programmes.
- Identifying, escalating, and managing any commercial matters to the Programme Schedule Group.
- Leading the programme team – advising, motivating, and guiding where required
- Facilitating communication with all stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Managing all monetary aspects of the cash-flow in relation to the projects schedule.
You will be interpersonal with excellent communication skills and be able to deal with senior levels of staff both internally and externally.
You will have a high level of understanding commercial contracts and the ability to identify risks as well as profit and budget opportunities.
You will also have a good technical knowledge with previous industry experience in a similar position.

Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
