Chief Engineer – Port Vessels

Navis Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a client for a highly experienced engineer to be responsible for the safety and efficiency of all mechanical machinery, electrical equipment and hydraulic systems on the vessel.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 3 years service as 2nd Engineer.
• Excellent maintenance and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience of working with small vessels
• Experience of hydraulic and electrical engineering.
• Excellent working knowledge of tugs and dredgers

Certificates required

• Minimum STCW Certificate 111/2 Chief Engineer Motor < 6,000KW near-coastal.
