Fleet Personnel Officer (Maritime) - Permanent - London - Competitive Salary
A leading LNG shipping company with a global presence is recruiting for a Fleet Personnel Officer to join the team based in London.
Reporting to the Fleet Personnel Manager, you will be responsible for daily and routine activities related to the management of seafaring personnel for assigned vessels.
Other duties will include;
- Implement and comply with the Company's Safety Management System as applicable
- Assist in maintaining seafarer records
- Assist with the continued development of sea staff in line with structured seafarer training programs
- Daily liaison with the Company’s manning agents
- Attend regular manning associated meetings
- Handle daily manning correspondence by email and other means
- Identifying areas for improvement and submitting proposals to Manager for consideration and forwarding to the HSEQ team
- Maintaining up to date changes in Industry Crew Related affairs and legislation
- Periodic ship visits
The ideal candidate will have fleet personnel/shipping experience within a similar capacity.
You will be approachable, work well within a team and have a pro-active attitude and positive outlook.
You will also have excellent time management and organisational skills, excellent English written and verbal communication skills and be fully compliant with Microsoft Office Software.
To be considered for this role, you MUST be based in the UK/have the immediate right to live and work in the UK

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
