Fleet Maintenance Coordinator – (London)

Fleet Maintenance Coordinator – Permanent – London – £28k plus overtime.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving tour operator based on the river Thames.

You will support the Fleet Manager in the panning & execution of maintenance & requirements for all vessels, servicing & supporting systems.

You will join a close knit maintenance team and must have a genuine passion for the marine industry and a healthy ability to learn.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain, improve & guarantee vessels are on the water in full operation throughout changeable seasonal demands
• Implement positive on-going change within the maintenance schedule & ensure standards are continually delivered
• Routine maintenance – engine servicing, fuel filters, spark plugs, gear oil changes etc
• General upkeep – tubes, decks, engines, oil hatches, lockers & equipment are fit for service
• Emergency maintenance – offer support with engine changes, major component changes with Fleet Manager & Official engineers.

Whilst direct experience is not required, some experience in engineering, fabrication, welding, electrical is preferred. Holding a powerboat level 2 license would be preferable for vessel transfer, although this could be provided if necessary.

Must be able, keen, energetic and a self-starter with ambition to succeed and mature with a small growing business/team

The role is based in central London so you would need to live within a 1 hour commute or be prepared to relocate. Must have the right work in the UK.
