Electrical/Mechanical Engineer (Pumps)- Permanent - Portsmouth - Competitive Salary

A leading marine environmental company is recruiting for an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Portsmouth to work on the installation and maintenance of a variety of vessels in accordance with environmental standards.

Duties will include;

• Train, organise and manage staff under your control ensuring all tasks are carried to customer satisfaction and in accordance with environmental quality procedures.
• Plan and organise projects on behalf of the Operations Directors and Managers.
• Undertake electrical tasks on a variety of Marine and Land based systems, including testing, trials, disconnections, installation and design.
• Overhaul and service repair of ships systems will be conducted to comply with all Health and Safety Procedures.

The successful candidate will have previous Electrical/Mechanical engineering experience in either the Maritime or Defence industry.

Good working knowledge of ISO & OHSA Systems, as well as ship systems and maintenance programmes.
