Ports and Terminals Manager (EMEA) – Permanent – London

The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading all business focus, growth and engagement across the EMEA region and where required, supporting the business in other regions within the ports, terminals and shoreside infrastructure arena. You will be reporting to the Head of EMEA being based within London, supporting other regions where required.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Shoreside maritime infrastructure arena
  • Participating in industry conference speaking, events and other networking opportunities in order to market the businesses operations within port and maritime operations.
  • Expand presence and influence in the region by marketing to existing and new customers.
  • Identify strategic opportunities to grow business across current and future product areas applicable for ports and terminals.
  • Drive growth of the business in customer numbers and revenue.
  • Interact with current and prospective customers to relay the product’s value and benefits while gathering direct feedback
  • Work with Key Industry Stakeholders on developing and driving standards in the ports and terminal space.
  • Work closely with the Key Account Managers and Business Development Manager ensuring management of new business opportunities and customer contracts.
  • Work closely with internal product teams to feedback customer comments, industry sentiments and opportunities for improvement on current products and potential opportunities for future product developments.

The successful candidate will:

  • In depth experience within the marine industry, specifically in shoreside ports and infrastructure arena.
  • Extensive experience in generating new business and achieving revenue growth, within the Maritime Industry.
  • Confident in public environments and able to deliver presentations and demonstrations with confidence in high pressure environments.
  • Comfortable with significant amounts of travel, whist also maintaining strong corporate relationships remotely.
