Quality Operational Excellence Services Manager – London

A large network company in London is looking for a Quality Operational Excellence Services Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Mostly based in London, this role will also involve frequent visits to France to meet with teams and lead quality improvement activities.

You will be supporting the Quality Operational Excellence Manager across all functional areas of service delivery, to develop and deploy effective solutions to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the company’s services.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that Operations Excellence improvement projects are managed effectively, these will include for example harmonisation projects and quality processes to improve business KPIs.
  • To support the Quality Operations Excellence Manager by working closely with process owners and teams to ensure that all improvement projects include appropriate quality requirements, KPIs and targets to meet quality standards from the outset.
  • To participate in improvement activities to harmonise processes for services activities for service provision problem identification and resolution.
  • To analyse all Costs of Non-Quality related to services, propose actions plans and manage them in a timely manner.
  • By managing the follow up of activities such as RCAs, investigations and Lessons Learned, to ensure preventative activities are completed and delivered with embedded and tested error proofed solutions.
  • To ensure that all quality data processing tools and facilities are implemented successfully so that users and process owners are trained adequately to utilise the tools effectively.

Requirements:

  • Must have a marine background in a quality role
  • Relevant technical Degree or above in engineering, technology or operations.
  • Ideally applicants will have recognised qualifications quality methods and data analysis.
  • Experience in quality methods and procedures in a service delivery environment such as equipment installation or marine installation activities.
  • Background in supporting services to ensure efficient delivery of high quality of services.
  • Significant quality/industrial experience in a similar role & project management.
  • International work experience with multinational teams preferred.
  • Experience in technical & quality management and continuous improvement projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills with a high level of pc literacy.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a cross-functional team environment at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, adapt quickly to new requirements and work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to travel
