Technical Superintendent role in Hong Kong

A leading Worldwide operator are looking to hire a Technical Superintendent to assist both their technical department with the ongoing maintenance of vessels and their operations department with other functions as detailed below. As an experienced former Chief Engineer, having worked in the shipping industry on cargo vessels or tankers, you will possess an eye for detail and have at least 3 years experience in a shore based managerial role.

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 3 years onshore experience along with a history at sea as a chief engineer. You will have vast experience in technical standards and display the following:

• HSE awareness and proactive management
• Cost-effective management regarding Class and Statutory requirements
• Team Leadership qualities
• An active approach to recruiting new personnel
