Consultant (Oil/ Chemical Spills) – London + Global travel – Permanent – £50,000 – £55,000

A leading marine organisation that specialise in advising tanker shipping companies and associated insurers such as P&I clubs on matters relating to pollution and oil/ chemical spills is looking to recruit an expert consultant to their team.

The main duties in this role will be to provide claims assessment services for any incidents that have occurred. You will often be required to travel at short notice and this could involve travel on a global scale. For this reason Flexi/ home working benefits are available. You will also consult with relevant parties on preventative matters and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience with pollution control, ideally within a maritime capacity, however if you have a relevant scientific qualification or technical marine background and also have some transferable skills in the areas of oil and chemical pollution then you can also be considered.
