Commercial Manager

Commercial Manager – Glasgow/London/Hamburg

My Client, a Global Ship Management company are looking for a proactive Commercial Manager to join their team. For this role you can be based in any of their offices in Europe, but the ideal candidate will be in Glasgow, London or Hamburg.

As a Commercial Manager you will be responsible for:

• Identifying and developing new business
• Oversee and take on financial activity; budgets, invoicing, annual/quarterly reports
• Manage client relationships and key accounts
• Review contracts relating to ship management agreements and time charter parties
• Willing to travel on occasion for business purposes

Requirements for the role;

• Account Management experience, preferably in a ship management environment
• Experience working within the shipping industry and with ship owners
• Great communication and presentation skills, can confidently communicate with throughout all levels of business
• Experience developing and leading client relationships
