Chief/Sole Stewardess

Seaworthy Consulting are looking for an “Outgoing and service orientated Chief/Sole Stew is required for a private, 2006, 39m, sailing yacht.

Excellent planning, organizational and bookkeeping skills are necessary. As Head of the interior, you will oversee the chef's operations and ensure a high standard is maintained throughout.
The successful candidate will be working on behalf of wonderful British owners, who wish to enjoy a relaxed and personal family experience with their children and friends, having very recently purchased the yacht.
Applicants will require relevant experience on similar sized sailing yachts, with excellent and clear communication skills, and will lead the delivery of world-class guest services and capably execute interior duties.
All visas and covid requirements must be in place and valid for working in the EU. All STCW modules and seafarer’s medical certification must be current and/or refreshed.

Start Date ASAP

The yacht runs with five crew, and the vessel will spend the majority of its summer season in Turkish and Greek waters. The normal plan for the yacht is to operate in the Med during the summer and then head to the Caribbean for the winter. The family are likely to use the boat for perhaps 8-10 weeks per year.
Combined owner use is around 8-10 weeks per year.
Salary guidelines are around €5,200 per month, depending on experience, with 38 days’ vacation and a discretionary 13th month bonus.”
