Account Manager – Remote – UK

My client are looking for an Account Manager to join their team. This role will include some business development but the ideal candidate will be someone from a Customer Success or Account management background, as the selling approach is a consultative one. Therefore fast passed “hunter” types might not like the pace of the role.

Role responsibilities:

  • Creation of sales plans for accounts
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline
  • Identify, qualify new prospects
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships
  • Attend weekly and/or monthly team meetings with sales team
  • Attend conferences and exhibitions as directed
  • Form a consultative sales strategy for each opportunity / customer
  • Attend the office as / when required

This role will suit you if;

  • You have a minimum of 3 years experience in Business Development, Account Management or Customer Success roles
  • You have experience in consultative, solution based selling
  • You have sold software products into the shipping industry
  • You have knowledge of condition monitoring and techniques
  • You have a drivers license and a car, as some travel will be required for this role

This role has a great package with a competitive basic + commission, 25 days holiday + Bank holidays, company card for expenses.
