Junior Project Engineer - PMS (LNG) - Permanent - London - Competitive Salary

A leading LNG shipping company with a global presence is recruiting for a Junior Project Engineer - PMS to join the team in London.

Reporting to the Project Engineer, this role will be to assist the PMS team with the day-to-day management of the PMS Tasks and Projects for new builds and existing fleet vessels.

Other duties will include;

  • Assisting with managing and implementing modifications and improvements across the Fleet Planned Maintenance systems.
  • Providing technical support cover for the Project Engineer (PMS) when required.
  • Assisting with maintaining and improving the fleet maintenance database.
  • Assisting with monitoring the PMS Software usage on-board and ashore and proposing corrective actions where and if needed.
  • Following completion of projects and providing lessons learned.
  • Assisting with user training, developing user guides or user acceptance test, when needed.
  • Supporting office and ship users on change management, system updates and system related questions.
  • Prioritising resolution of issues on a daily basis, taking into consideration of the possible impact on the vessel and schedule actions accordingly.

The ideal candidate will have experience in using and/or administrating a PMS software and have experience on-board LNG vessels or in Naval Architecture.

You will also be a team player, have the ability to deliver quality and intuitive solutions and have good time management skills.
