Hotel Defects Coordinator (Cruise) – Permanent – London – £45k – £50k plus benefits

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable Cruise Line based our of their London office.

The Hotel Defects Coordinator analyses the data resulting from the ship’s performance to identify potential concerns, points of attention, and relevant areas for improvement. The successful candidate will also monitor and report against the appropriate software effectiveness and application to the company procedures and standards.

Responsibilities Include:

• Analyses the ship performance data prompted by the Hotel Defects system and identifies points of attention;
• Highlights to the ship class Superintendent the specific topics that may require further assessment or warrant a process adjustment;
• Discusses the overall outcome of the analysis with the ship class Superintendent to identify together possible solutions where ship performance can be improved;
• Monitors the effectiveness of the Hotel Defects system in place and highlights concerns or opportunities for improving its performance;
• Assesses adherence of the Hotel Defects system to the company procedures and standards;
• Reports periodically to the Refurbishment Director and the Asset Management team their findings of the software performance and conformity to the business needs;

Experience Required:

• Fluent English skills;
• Previous experience with data analysis is essential;
• Previous experience with implementing or testing IT related tools/software;
• Computer literacy and confidence use of the Microsoft Office suite;
• Knowledge of cruise shipboard processes is highly desirable;
• Strong analytic skills and attention to detail;
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and across diverse cultures;
• “Hands-on” management skills; Possesses self-motivation with the ability to mobilise people and resources to action within a high-paced environment;
