Technical Superintendent in the Netherlands

A opportunity has arisen with one of Europe's newest and most ambitious marine operators. They are looking to recruit a Technical Superintendent to oversee their current vessels and to have a large involvement with the expansion of their fleet.

This opportunity is for an experienced ex chief engineer with at least 2 years experience in a shore-based technical role overseeing offshore vessels. Within your scope of work you will:

• Lead the overall technical maintenance of the new-build fleet and any technical modifications
• Oversee QHSE implementation and management to actively promote safety awareness at all times
• Review performance information and identify changes needed to improve vessel performance
• Approves maintenance plans and schedules
• Be open to regular travel to support operations and technical projects
• Spoken and written professional fluency in English & Dutch
• With operational focus in Brazil you must also be willing to learn Portuguese
