Heavy Plant Fitter (Port) – Permanent – Northeast

As a Heavy Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for providing maintenance for a range of port assets such as, forklift trucks, loading shovels, shunt trucks, etc. Working within the Plant team, you’ll need to be experienced in carrying out fast and effective repairs and routine services on a wide range of plant equipment and cranes.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and repairs on industrial vehicles and plant equipment.
• Excellent Health & Safety Knowledge
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Full Driving License and own transport
• Experience of welding, flame cutting and fabrication duties would be beneficial.

This role is working full-time hours. A competitive salary is offered, along with an excellent benefits package.
