Business Analyst (Controlling)

We are representing one of the global maritime shipping owner to recruit for a Business Financial Analyst candidate. The position will be based in Singapore however selected candidates will be given the intensive training in their HQ office in Germany.

As the Business Financial Analyst, you will perform operational, financial as well as performance analyses and develop reports in close cooperation with the commercial department to create maximum transparency for the stakeholders. This is a mixture of both business analytics, building dashboards, analysing PnL and continuous enhancement projects.

Acting as business partners to their commercial team, you will generate insights to support decision making through meaningful regular and ad-hoc analyses and taking part in the continuous enhancement process of their reporting landscape, for example the internal risk management system.

We are looking for candidates with the following requirement to be a suitable fit for this role;

• A degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• A confident and outgoing candidate that enjoys communication in an international team.
• You have basic experience with Business Intelligence products (preferably Power BI)
• Preferably proven experience in the shipping sector.
