**candidates in Europe are given first consideration due to travel arrangements and with valid Schengen visa if applicable**

Start: end April/Eerly May - start date could be flexible
Package: Salary paid in Euros, 176 days leave a year
Itinerary: Europe/Middle East

Desired attributes include:

• At least 5 years of post- graduate experience in adult emergency or internal medicine. 
• Ideally minimum 2 years in the shipping industry 
• Requires very good leadership skills, flexibility, and a great attitude
• Being creative and proactive  (thinking outside the box) are basic features to perform this role
• You will be closely working with the fleet nurses
• Fluency in English, must be able to communicate and work as a medical professional in English (both spoken and written) 
• You are the key point of contact for all medical emergencies
• Report writing and computer skills essential

Qualifications preferred:

• STCW (fully updated)
• Proficiency in Designated Security Duties
• Seafarer's Medical Certificate (with 6 months+ validity)
• Seafarer 's discharge book
• Vaccination card with Yellow fever
• Covid vaccination card (Client request)
