Engineering Technical Manager

Seaworthy Consulting are looking for an Engineering Technical Manager to join a company in the Offshore Oil, Gas and Renewable Industry, looking after a fleet of 10 workboat vessels. Must have an engineering background and have experience/skills managing a team.

Some Responsibilities-

Be on hand to supply technical support to the shore-based engineer and crews when necessary
Help the Operations Manager to carry out internal audits
Organise and attend shipyard and vessel visits
Mange supplier and 3rd party accounts
Day to day technical management of the vessels, vessel requirements and equipment repair status
Monitor or manage where required new build progress and the planning process
Take part in any technical advice in Accident investigations
Carry out appraisals of staff
Manage and control all technical costs in the company’s best interest
Manage all fleet technical drawings and documentation

Must be located on Northeast, England or willing to relocate

Competitive salary plus company bonus – willing to negotiate salary for the right candidate

20 days annual leave per year
