The Client…

Our client is a luxury private yacht mooring in Italy.
-50m+ Private Motor Yacht with MTU engines
-Home Port is Italy
-Itinerary is summer and winter in Italy.
-Crew are mainly Italian speaking yacht professionals.

The Role…

The yacht is seeking an Italian speaking Sole Engineer / Chief Engineer.
-Responsibilities will include overall management, maintenance and repair of the engine room and ancillary systems ensuring the bridge has power when needed.
-The urgency of the role is to start within a month but client will wait for any notice period.
-The Rotation of the role is a permanent role, living aboard the vessel with 40 days annual leave - SHARED CABIN

The Person…

The Minimum Qualification needed is either an OOWE or Y3.
-The person needs to be able to speak fluent Italian
-The person needs to have a Current ENG1 medical certificate.
-The person needs to have 'Hands on' marine engineering skills, strong communication skills and be flexible, adventurous, driven, and sociable and have the ability to work well in a team.
-No Yacht experience is needed.

The role will pay a salary of €7500pcm.
