Laminator (GRP Marine) – Permanent – Oxfordshire – £35,000-36,000 pa

Navis Consulting have an opportunity for an individual with a ‘hands on’ approach to be apart of a team working through the processes and production of superyacht ribs and tenders. Based just outside Oxford our client wants a unique individual with the drive to deliver a high quality service to join their team and develop in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in processes of gel coat spraying, skin coating and main lay-up to meet key deadlines
• Well organised meeting set daily objectives to increase productivity workflow
• Adapt to learning new techniques
• Making sure tools and equipment are maintained and to standards
• Ensure all processes are followed and kept within regulations
• Liaise with other departments for constant improvement to meet deadlines.
• All HSE and other company policies and procedures are met and correct use and storage of PPE.

Experience Required:

• Gel Coat application (hand gel and spray)
• Mould tool preparation and application of release systems
• Hand laminating and knowledge of closed moulding techniques
• GRP skill set
• Attention to detail and problem solving with the ability to communicate instructions
