Captain (50m New Build Motoryacht)

The Client…
Our client is a luxury private yacht.
-50m+ NEWBUILD Private Motor Yacht
-Home Port is the Mediterranean
-Itinerary is summer in the Mediterranean and winter in the Mediterranean.
-Crew are mainly yacht professionals from commonwealth countries.

The Role…
The yacht is seeking a Captain.
-Easy 7 week Summer.
-The urgency of the role is to start within a month but client will wait for any notice period.
-The Rotation of the role is a permanent role, living aboard the vessel with 42 days annual leave

The Person…
The Minimum Qualification needed is either an OOWE or Y3.
-The owners rep / Project manager does not want a captain who wants to be a project manager, he wants a captain who is a captain only.
-Fluent English
-The person needs to have a Current ENG1 medical certificate.
-Light Drinker and non-smoker preferred.

The Reward…
The role will pay a salary of €8000-9000pcm Tax Free.
-A discretionary 13th month bonus (8.33%) is often paid.
-When the yacht is chartered, tips are shared between the crew.

-Cabin Arrangements include your own Cabin for senior officers.
