Loss Prevention Officer (Marine insurance) – London – Permanent – £50,000 – £60,000

An opportunity has arisen with a leading marine insurance provider for a Loss Prevention Officer to join their team in London.

You will be responsible for assessing ship condition reports, providing technical advice, producing articles for club publications and investigating the root causes of claims. You will also be required to produce presentations for the clubs members on a variety of technical topics.

The successful applicant will have sailed as Senior Deck Officer on a variety of vessel types and previous shore based experience is advantageous.

The successful applicant will need have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
