RYA Chief Instructor- Permanent- Qatar- £36000

Navis Consulting have an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for teaching, that can lead a team and happy to be away from home. This role is aimed at an individual wanting to develop further in their career and pass on their skill sets to others. You will be managing the training centers activities as well as delivering lessons yourself. You will be supported by the mother company and provided with an assistant to help support you throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage schedules at a high level in compliance with RYA
• Develop business plans and promote the centers activities as well as delivering training courses
• Maintain housekeeping standards on all equipment
• Following Health and Safety measures at all times
• Clear communication working along side the Managing Director and CEO to develop business opportunities
• Ensure training assets are set up to meet RYA requirements
• Make sure instructors are qualified, supported and provided with ongoing training if necessary and correct paperwork complete for all courses
• Excellent customer services skills

Experience Required:

• Work well with management, staff and sailors of all levels
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Organized team player
• Knowledge of RYA standards and code of conduct
• Working knowledge of orgnising and delivering powerboat and sailing courses
• Competency in MS office

Qualifications required:

• Advanced Powerboat instructor course
• RYA Senior Dinghy instructor course
• Personal watercraft instructor course
• Two years previous experience in a related position
