Cruise Director (Cruise) – Worldwide

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cruise Director to join one of the largest and well-known cruise lines in the world.

The entertainment team ensures that Guests have a wonderful time onboard. Embracing the challenge of being in the spotlight and working behind the scenes, you will deliver world class productions in different performance venues onboard, take charge of activities and create and atmosphere of fun and excitement for all.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Hosting and acting as Master of ceremonies at special events. , themed parties, Captain’s cocktail parties, Guest Talent Shows, Welcome Aboard shows and more
• Making announcements on the Public Address System
• Monitoring and evaluating guest comments to create ideas of improvement
• Conducting regular meetings with heads of departments, reviewing policies, discussing opportunities and solutions
• Ensuring guest entertainment and activities are carefully integrated
• Ensuring cruise line standards are being met by coaching and rehearsing with department staff
• Training and counselling all staff under their supervision

Requirements:

• Must have previous entertainment or guest activities experience in a 4 or 5 Star cruise ship, hotel or resort to be considered for this position.
• Master of ceremony and/or professional entertainment experience
• Strong management skills
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Excellent speaking, writing, and reading skills in the English language
• Excellent customer service skills
• A strong sense of problem solving, decision making and interpersonal skills.
