Claims Handler (Marine Cargo) – London – Permanent – £35,000 – £40,000

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a reputable, global insurance company for a Claims Handler to join their busy marine team based in London.

The role involves handling a portfolio of marine cargo claims which will include duties such as managing surveyors that are appointed to asses claims, negotiating settlements of claims, Build strong relationships with Underwriters, Marketing/Account Executives and issuing legal proceedings when applicable.

Applicants should previous experience in a marine claims handling role. This can be from the perspective of an insurer, broker or loss adjuster, or otherwise in-house with a shipping or trading company.

Applicants should be based in London or be prepared to move to the city and already have the right to work in the UK. You must be fluent in English. A good package is available and the opportunity to further develop your skills with a leading organisation.
