Quality Technician

Quality Technician- Permanent- Oundle- Competitive Salary

Navis Consulting have an opportunity for an individual with an eye for acute detail. This role is aimed to check the incoming goods are to standards. You will be checking a variety of products and materials and liaising with supplier when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Checking incoming goods are as specified to requirements – dimensional to drawing and visual
• Inspection includes metalwork, glass, and other material
• Segregate and quarantine non-conforming product
• Participate in the Material Review Board process, the steps in determining fitness-for-use, and product disposition
• Support the Rework Approval / Concession / Change Notification processes
• Investigating quality assurance concerns and establishing liability
• Liaise with suppliers where necessary

Experience required:

• Previous experience in a Quality Technician role desirable (further training will be provided)
• Previous inspection experience desirable (further training will be provided)
• Willingness to learn vital
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
