Service Engineer

Service Engineer- Permanent- East Grinstead (willing to travel) – Competitive Salary

Navis Consulting have an opportunity for an individual with a combination of a mechanical and electrical engineering background. This role is aimed at an individual interested in travelling and comfortable with working on their own as well as a team. You will be expected to visit UK and EMEA customers on short notice for repairs, maintenance and servicing, and training requirements. You must be reliable, proactive and flexible to full fill all needs of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• To comply with companies H&S procedures when at base and travelling
• Provide mechanical and electronic technical service support
• Deliver all mechanical training requirements
• Complete jet refurbishment service
• Mechanical workshop maintenance
• Product bulletin process
• Complaint process support
• The ability to communicate in English, verbal and written
• Hold driving license and passport

Experience required:

• Engineering apprenticeship or similar qualification
• 3-5 years engineering experience gained in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in PPM and fault finding on hydraulics and pneumatics systems on modern machinery and equipment.
• Using computer systems.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings and circuit diagrams, mechanical fitting, electrical fitting, low voltage PLC and PCB panels.
