Operations/Stock Co-Ordinator (shipping)- Permanent- Hull- Competitive Salary

Navis Consulting have an opportunity for an individual looking to develop in the shipping industry. This role is aimed at an individual interested in the organization and scheduling of ships and the goods that they bring in. You will become apart of a busy team and heart of the scheduling and inventory of stock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory of stock
• Process and arrange deliveries in accordance with arrival and sailing schedules
• Daily reports of scheduling
• Create additional delivery and load opportunities
• Liaise with different departments such as terminals, customers and ship agents regarding scheduling
• Ensure team have clear visibility of stock/logistic positions
• Provide documents relating to stock and deliveries
• Maintain all records making sure nothing is missed

Experience required:

• Maritime knowledge or keenness to learn
• Experience in data entry/order processing
• Microsoft 365
• Ability to communicate verbal and in writing
• Attention to detail
• Customer service skills
• Abilities to priorities and multi-task
• Conduct all work in a professional manner
