Cook (Ferry) – Cornwall

Are you a Cook and have Seagoing Experience?

I am looking for a Ship’s Cook to join a UK based Ferry in Cornwall.

Daily duties will include:

• Cooking a light breakfast, lunch and an evening meal for 18 members of crew whilst providing food for passengers
• Maintain a clean galley
• Keep due diligence records (temperature control, stock rotation etc and be responsible for meal planning
• Support the Pursers in increasing the average sales £ per passenger
• You will also be required to be part of the vessel emergency party and taking part in regular drills.

Rotation is 2 weeks on & 2 weeks off, between March and October.

Applicants must be in travelling distance to Penzance.

Requirements:

• ENG1 Medical
• Hold Personal Sea Survival/ Crowd Control/Security Awareness Certificate ( If not, Training Will Be Given On Board )
• Must have Food Hygiene Qualification
