Composite Finisher – Permanent- Oxfordshire- £28,000
Navis Consulting have an opportunity for an individual with the skills set to help assist with the process and finishing of the production of RIBs/tenders. Based just outside Oxford our client wants a unique individual with the drive to deliver a high quality service to join their team and develop in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify defects requiring rework
• Repair of gel coat surfaces and remove imperfections
• Fairing of surfaces
• Polishing of gel coat surfaces
• Trimming of GRP components using power tools
• Sanding using abrasives paper to finish off cut edges
• Ensure work station and tools are maintained and promote high standard workmanship
• Report any faults and uphold companies HSE standards

Experience Required:

• Previous experience of finishing GRP or paint finishes
• Hand/power tool understanding
• Good communication skills
• Be able to work independently or as a team
• Meet deadline in a conscious manner

This is a permanent role looking for a passionate individual with an eye for detail and shares a passion for boats. This candidate must be wanting to develop their skill sets surrounded by a group of individuals sharing the same drive to deliver a high quality service.
