Chief Engineer

Faststream is working with a prestigious passenger ferry company to expand their engineering department.

They are in need of an experienced Chief Engineer preferably based along the South Coast of England.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Responsible for the operation of the engine room and any maintenance of machinery on board the vessel
• Determine the volume of fuel for each voyage
• Coordinate daily operation with engine assistant
• Must have experience in mechanical and electrical experience preferably on board passenger vessels
• STCW Unlimited
• Previous experience as a Chief Engineer is essential

Week on week off 12 hour - shift rotation with return to company paid accommodation at shift end.
