Mechanical Fitter (Ribs)- Permanent- Somerset- £30,000

Navis Consulting have an opportunity for an individual with a passion for a hands on role. This role is aimed at an individual wanting to develop further in their career and grow their skill set working on ribs to supply to leisure, commercial, rescue and Military boats which are exported worldwide. You will be working with a dedicated team hard working to the highest of standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Piecing together components or products using a variety of tools and equipment
• Fitting and Assembly of various components
• Boat Wiring
• Engine Fitting

Experience required:

• Experience in Marine for 2 or more years
• Inboard motor experience
• Experience in electrical wiring and engine rigging
• Previous background/experience
• Powered hand tool experience
• COSHH and MSDS
• Manual Handling
• First Aid
