Mechanical Engineer – Permanent – Southeast

As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for providing mechanical engineering expertise for a range of port assets and systems in the delivery of projects, maintenance, and inspections. You will be working within a team to provide maintenance on assets such as berths, cranes, locks, pontoons, hydraulic systems, and utility systems, including potable water and sewerage, while upkeeping health and safety on these projects.

The successful candidate will have:

• Mechanical trade discipline apprenticeship and qualifications at a minimum level of HNC/HND
• Experience with Industrial Hydraulics
• Health & Safety and CDM regulations 2015 knowledge
• Basic IT and computer skills, including excel and word.
• Full Driving License and own transport
