Yacht Third Engineer (with OOWE or 2E unlimited)

The Client…
Client = 100m+ Private Motor Yacht
Home Port = Mediterranean
Itinerary = Summer in the Mediterranean and winter in the Caribbean.
Crew = Mainly commercial marine professionals from commonwealth countries.

The Role…
Job Title = 3rd Engineer.
Responsibilities = Responsibilities will include overall management, maintenance and repair of the engine room and ancillary systems ensuring the bridge has power when needed.
Urgency = Start within a month but client will wait for any short notice period.
Rotation = 2mo/2mo

The Person…
Minimum Qualification = OOWE or Second Engineer Unlimited.
Medical = Current ENG1 medical certificate.
Personality = The person needs to have 'Hands on' marine engineering skills, strong communication skills and be flexible, adventurous, driven, sociable and have the ability to work well in a team.
Experience needed = No Yacht experience is needed.
