My Client is a global leader in providing services and solutions to the O+G and Marine sectors. They are currently seeking a Chief Mate to join one of their Heavy Lift and Pipe Laying DP vessels that operates in the Asia Pacific region. Start date: 14/01/15.

The role…

-Long term contract with 5 week rotations.
-Management of Bridge Officers
-Assisting the Captain to determine the positioning of the vessel
-Create reports in line with designated on-board procedures
-Ensure construction activities are carried out safely

The ideal candidate will possess:
-Chief Mate Ticket
-DP Full
-COC
-Previous experience on Pipelay + Heavy Lift vessels as a Chief Mate

This position will offer a day rate that will be dependent on the experience of the successful candidate. Initially a long term contract position that is likely to lead to permanent work with a market leading company in the Offshore Industry.
