IT Officer (Cruise) – Worldwide

We are recruiting on behalf of a major cruise company who are looking for IT Officers to join with them. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable organisation who are offering excellent benefits and career opportunities.

Summary

Responsible for testing, maintenance and repair of IT systems / equipment onboard the ship, both hardware and software. This will include fixing where possible and replacing where not, reporting faults to shore side via Systems and to the Senior Officer as appropriate.

Experience

• PC / Desk Top Support Experience
• Experience in the use and support of PC Hardware
• Excellent knowledge of Windows 7, Lotus notes
• Basic understanding of MS Active Directory, W2K Networking
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (Desktop Infrastructure) is desirable
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Passed Marlins English test of Proficiency (where applicable)

Certificates

• Valid ENG1 medical certificate or equivalent for the duration of each voyage
