Claims Handler (Marine Cargo) – London – Permanent – £25,000 – £40,000

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a reputable and fast growing insurance claims management firm for a Claims Handler to join their busy marine team based in London.

The role involves handling a portfolio marine cargo claims on behalf of subrogated insurers, re insurers and traders. This will include duties such as negotiating settlements, advising on recovery matters, appointing surveyors and issuing legal proceedings when applicable.

Applicants should have at least 1 years direct experience in a marine claims handling role. This can be from the perspective of an insurer, broker or loss adjuster, or otherwise in-house with a shipping or trading company.

Applicants should be based in London or be prepared to move to the city and already have the right to work in the UK. You must be fluent in English. A good package is available and the opportunity to further develop your skills with a leading organisation.
