Team Leader (Dry Lay)- Permanent- Oxfordshire

Navis Consulting have an opportunity for an individual with a ‘hands on’ approach to lead a team through the process and production of ribs/tenders. Based just outside Oxford our client wants a unique individual with the drive to deliver a high quality service to join their team and develop in their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team responsible for CNC cutting and preparation of kits and resin infusion processes
• Report directly to the Composite Manager
• Working within the dry lay-up and resin infusion area preparing and managing process of silicon bags to produce moulded parts
• Working with foam and ply reinforcement items used within infusion and wet lay moulding processes
• Organization of cut parts into model specific kits and delivery to production in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the dry lay-up of fabric and reinforcement across a range of mould tools to ensure optimization of material kits and process is achieved.

Experienced required:

• CNC cutting knife and 3-axis router experience
• Process control experience.
• Experience with closed moulding techniques, in particular vacuum resin infusion and RTM light for composite part production.
• Team management experience in similar working environment
• Problem Solver and Good communicator
• Highly organized
