Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer – £40,000 per annum – Cardiff/Remote

An industry leading Electronics Manufacturer for the Marine sector are currently looking for a Systems engineer to join their delivery team. You will be working on system architecture for multiple projects, raging from transceivers to radars.

Key responsibilities;

• Liaise between the Systems architecture team and the Installation team.
• Work closely with the Systems Architecture team to ensure the standards and architectural framework is adhered to.
• Create systems test plans and agree with the Architecture team on new scenario based tests.
• Manage security, performance & cost requirements and document appropriately.

Key Skills;

• Bachelor’s in Mathematics, Computing, Engineering or similar discipline.
• 3-5 years experience in mixed software engineering and IT projects.
• Experience of HLD and LLD
• Experience of disaster recovery failure & system replication in respects to hardware and software

This role can be mostly remote but there will be an expectation to visit the Cardiff office 2-3 times a month,
