Underwriting Executive (Marine) – North East England – Permanent – £25,000 – £28,000

An opportunity has arisen with a leading marine insurance company for an Underwriting Executive to join their busy team.

This will be a relatively junior position in the team and duties will involve providing support in the underwriting of marine insurance policies on behalf of policy holders and brokers. You will support across the full range of underwriting services from new enquiries, amendments and cancellations through to renewals.

Due to the marine insurance market being very specialist, applicants do not have to have previous experience within the marine insurance market. Applicant should have either; experience in an insurance role within a different insurance market OR, good knowledge and experience within the maritime sector with an interest to move in to insurance underwriting.
