Integration Specialist – London/Paris – £30,000-£45,000 p/a dependent on experience

My client, a maritime digital solutions provider are looking for a Integration specialist to join their growing team. You will be part of the Client Success team, the team has managers who work with named accounts, deployment specialists who handle ship integrations (this would be where you fit), and industry specialists who use the tools to gain insight to help clients and maximize efficiency within their fleets.

Due to the success of the Business development team, my client is looking for a self-motivated and naturally curious person to take the mantle of Integration Specialist.

The main purpose of the role will be to collect data from their clients ships via software integrations whilst maintaining existing systems. You will determine how to best obtain vessel data from their clients vessels, and also how to persist that data in the platform in order to allow the platform to analyse said data using machine learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with clients to determine how to extract data from multiple sources
• Manage complex deployment projects involving multiple ships and possibly owners
• Assist the engineering team by validating and interpreting vessel data
• Improving team processes that can lead to increased efficiency or improved customer experience
• Onboard new vessels and their data sources into the internal platform
• Debug data transmission problems and investigate unusual data patterns

You will be assisting mainly European clients, therefore my client are looking for someone to be based in either London or Paris.

Collaborating with the rest of the team is also critical for success in this role, as these teams are based in Singapore and New York, flexibility with working hours will be required in order to have meetings with these time zones.

What we need from you

• 3+ Years of professional experience
• Minimum 1 year of customer facing experience
• Strong, professional communication skills, written and verbal
• Organized and able to collaborate with colleagues in different time zones
• Ability to debug and resolve data issues where the cause of the problem may be initially unknown
• Interest in scripting languages or python programming
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, XML data formats, or SQL is a plus
• Knowledge of technical ship management or on-ship experience as an engineer is a plus
